This week on Jersey Shore

Reality television is slowly changing the perspective of how America is trying to appear.
From television shows such as the Real World, Teen Mom, Jersey Shore, and all those other idiotic shows that try and find a celebrity there "true love". These shows irritate the hell out of me because they affect how people try and look, and also how people act. If there were some kind of different life form out in the universe and they were to come and try and recieve help from us they would see what is entertainment to us and they would just leave. The people on this show embarrass themselves from being alcholics and passing out or even getting arrested. People who try and act like them are even more idiotic then them because these type of people are the laughing stock of America. To me reality television is unrealistic. Most of the dramatic scenes are all set up to pull in the audience and to make them feel bad for the actors. For example, the Hills, which was a reality show that was supposedly fake from the beginning of the serious, used the format of reality television to grab in the audience and to keep them watching. This proves to me that every reality tv show must be doing the same thing just to make money. Other shows that make America looked down upon are ones like Flavor of Love or Rock of Love. These shows take celebrities who I guess are not making enough money as it is and try and find them a true love. But everyone knows that once the show is over that they either split up or end of never even getting together and just giving the winner of the show massive amounts of money. Reality television is worthless programming and should be ended before it makes America look even more stupid than we already do.
I never thought this day would come...

Newspapers

The Dundalk Eagle is a very popular newspapers that has been serving the community of Dundalk for over 40 years. But with the Dundalk Eagle come many types of stories that have happened in the Greater Dundalk area over the past week. Such as huge weather storms (snow, flooding, etc.), sports from all the local high schools, and maybe one of the most popular for many to look at the Police Beat. The audience of the Dundalk Eagle can differ at times. In the Sports and Recreation section of the newspapers the audience can be the normal teenager who just wants to see if they were in the section for winning a game and having a action shot by Bill Gates. The audience can also be for people in there 30s and 40s with news around the Dundalk area, reunion news, obituaries, and much more. But with every newspaper there comes the thought of being bias. But to me the Dundalk Eagle is far from bias. It may seem that many articles in the newspaper can be bias because many high school sport teams are playing teams outside of the Dundalk area, but that is just that the author of the post has lived in Dundalk for so long that they are tired of seeing many of the sports teams be treated differently or something along that line. The cost of the Dundalk Eagle is around 25 cent, which may seem to say that the quality of the newspaper isn't as good as many others. But that is very wrong because it is much better than a normal crappy, monotone newspaper that you can find out their. It has its own tone and sound because you have grown up reading many of the articles in the eagle and have gotten used to how it is. I believe the Dundalk Eagle will continue to thrive throughout the Greater Dundalk area as it has for the past 40 years. Someone in the Dundalk area would purchase this newspaper because it can keep you caught up on what is happening in Dundalk and it can help you to see what there is going on in your area so you can stay interested in your community.
