Broadcast Yourself

In todays world everyone will give anything just to be able to create a hit music video or any type of video that can get millions of views on Youtube. I mean, who wouldn't want a hit sensation on Youtube and recieve all type of criticism towards how "gay" they are and how hot there Mom must be (that was sarcasm). Of course it was sarcasm. Youtube is just a way for people who barely know how technology runs to get known. But enough about that, let's talk about todays artists. Yes, most artists do use Youtube to become internet sensations, but they also use itunes. Itunes is the internet database for everything music. You can find literally any song. I think that this shows the lack of talent that most artists have in todays world. Anything can somehow become a hit, and most of this music is the dumbest, most senseless music ever. With these new ways of being able to get any music you want to listen to on itunes and youtube it seems that the radio industry will slowly evaporate. Noone will need to listen to the radio if they already have all the music on there ipod and listening to that in the car. The internet is slowly killing off the radio, and it also seems that they will destroy the record companies. People will stop buying music because they will get leaked to the internet and people illegally download them, resulting in the downfall of record companies. Artists now a days should actually start to show some talent, instead of using youtube to recieve all of there views.

Internet sensation, no talent.

This week on Jersey Shore

Reality television is slowly changing the perspective of how America is trying to appear.
From television shows such as the Real World, Teen Mom, Jersey Shore, and all those other idiotic shows that try and find a celebrity there "true love". These shows irritate the hell out of me because they affect how people try and look, and also how people act. If there were some kind of different life form out in the universe and they were to come and try and recieve help from us they would see what is entertainment to us and they would just leave. The people on this show embarrass themselves from being alcholics and passing out or even getting arrested. People who try and act like them are even more idiotic then them because these type of people are the laughing stock of America. To me reality television is unrealistic. Most of the dramatic scenes are all set up to pull in the audience and to make them feel bad for the actors. For example, the Hills, which was a reality show that was supposedly fake from the beginning of the serious, used the format of reality television to grab in the audience and to keep them watching. This proves to me that every reality tv show must be doing the same thing just to make money. Other shows that make America looked down upon are ones like Flavor of Love or Rock of Love. These shows take celebrities who I guess are not making enough money as it is and try and find them a true love. But everyone knows that once the show is over that they either split up or end of never even getting together and just giving the winner of the show massive amounts of money. Reality television is worthless programming and should be ended before it makes America look even more stupid than we already do.
I never thought this day would come...

Newspapers

The Dundalk Eagle is a very popular newspapers that has been serving the community of Dundalk for over 40 years. But with the Dundalk Eagle come many types of stories that have happened in the Greater Dundalk area over the past week. Such as huge weather storms (snow, flooding, etc.), sports from all the local high schools, and maybe one of the most popular for many to look at the Police Beat. The audience of the Dundalk Eagle can differ at times. In the Sports and Recreation section of the newspapers the audience can be the normal teenager who just wants to see if they were in the section for winning a game and having a action shot by Bill Gates. The audience can also be for people in there 30s and 40s with news around the Dundalk area, reunion news, obituaries, and much more. But with every newspaper there comes the thought of being bias. But to me the Dundalk Eagle is far from bias. It may seem that many articles in the newspaper can be bias because many high school sport teams are playing teams outside of the Dundalk area, but that is just that the author of the post has lived in Dundalk for so long that they are tired of seeing many of the sports teams be treated differently or something along that line. The cost of the Dundalk Eagle is around 25 cent, which may seem to say that the quality of the newspaper isn't as good as many others. But that is very wrong because it is much better than a normal crappy, monotone newspaper that you can find out their. It has its own tone and sound because you have grown up reading many of the articles in the eagle and have gotten used to how it is. I believe the Dundalk Eagle will continue to thrive throughout the Greater Dundalk area as it has for the past 40 years. Someone in the Dundalk area would purchase this newspaper because it can keep you caught up on what is happening in Dundalk and it can help you to see what there is going on in your area so you can stay interested in your community.

Magazines in the check out like: Airbrush much?

When it comes to magazines there must always be an eye-popping feature on the front to catch the eye of a normal human. If not, then the magazine will not interest them and therefore you will most likely not be a popular magazine. Women must be in nearly revealing clothing or it will not catch the eye of an average male, or a guy must have his shirt off and have a body that looks like he works out 24/7 to catch the eye of a woman. But what also catches the eye of a person is scandals and celebrity problems that somehow have gotten out into the public.

As some of America's youth was growing up they watched Hilary Duff as she was on Disney channel, but now as she is grown and many of the kids who watched her they try and attract them in with this picture of her with a cloth barely covering her body. It shows how much editors and writers can go to just sell there magazine.

It isn't very hard to catch the eye of a normal human. To put a picture of two celebrities somehow making contact and say that both are dating or they're cheating on there husband or wife isn't very hard to do. It is also quite simple to edit out things such as wrinkles to make an aging celebrity look like they're still in there 20's. In todays world it is quite easy to catch the eye of anyone with mind boggling stories or sexy photographs, so it is very hard to believe that magazine sales are on a decline.
